Shows, above the components, one parent pipeline that runs every pipeline of the view: a stage per batch, a task per pipeline. With Allow starting a pipeline switched on, users who may build the first job of every pipeline get a button that runs them all, and one that stops the run.
A run takes the pipelines in the order the view is configured in, builds the first job of as many as the Number of concurrent pipelines, waits until all of them have come to an end, sleeps for the Sleep time between concurrent pipelines and goes on with the next batch, whatever the outcome of the last. First jobs with parameters are built with their default values.
A pipeline has come to an end when none of its tasks is running or waiting in the queue any more, blocked ones included. So the agents are idle between two batches, and jobs that wait for the others to finish, such as a clean-up that the builds of a batch block, get their turn before the next batch starts.
The run is planned when it starts and goes on when the view is reconfigured or Jenkins restarts. Stopping a run starts no further batch; the pipelines that are running go on, and the run ends when they have. Stopping it a second time ends it at once, without waiting for them.
While a run is going the view says when it is expected to end, and between runs how long a run takes, going by how long each pipeline took the last time.
