No source (default): omit values — chart defaults only, unless Values overlay is set.

Repository: Jenkins shallow-clones the Git repo and reads the values file, then sends string values to Portainer (no Git values API).

Manual YAML: paste values content; required when this mode is selected.

Optional Values overlay is a separate last merge layer on top of this source — not a fourth Values source. Logs length and a short hash only.
